National Communication Association's 2017 and 2019 Recipient for Outstanding Undergraduate Consultant
Shannon is a first-year communication studies graduate student. She is originally from New York. Her career aspirations include owning her own business, helping others, & traveling. This is Shannon's first year consulting with the University Speaking Center and is looking forward to acquiring additional best practices that will not only help her in her future career but also help UNC Charlotte students. One of her favorite quotes is, "Work hard in silence, let success be your noise."
Veronica is a communication studies and Spanish double major. She became a consultant at the University Speaking Center in the fall of 2017 and is the 2019 recipient of the National Communication Association's Outstanding Undergraduate Consultant award. Veronica loves sharing the art of public speaking with her peers on campus. Her goal is to show the clients that public speaking Is not something to be feared, but to be embraced with confidence and a positive attitude. She is originally from Livonia, Michigan and moved to North Carolina to pursue a higher education. She is extremely interested in international public relations and marketing. She hopes to work in the automotive industry post-graduation.
